Purpose: to fight poverty and to help people help themselves and their environment by providing resources, sharing knowledge, building capacity and forging partnerships in the public and private sectors.

The G8 - Group of 8

Mission - To address such issues include health, law enforcement, labor, economic and social development, energy, environment, foreign affairs, justice and interior, terrorism, and trade.

The G20 - Group of 20 - The G20 is an informal group of 19 countries as well as the European nion , with representatives of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank. This group does not include the members of the original G8
